Persuasive Texts or Speeches

Following is a list of persuasive / argumentative speeches. 

Do they do the following:

  1. Create and engaging introduction? capture audiences interest?
  2. Do they explain their topic / their mission that they want to sell you?
  3. Do they say why it is in the public good? why people should care?
  4. What evidence do they provide to support their claims ?
  5. What evidence do they use to show critics / counter claims - why the "other side should care"?
  6. Do they have strong conclusion?
  7. What is their call to action?
  8. What are your final thought? do you agree ? are you inspired to take action? If not why not?
